In many green spaces within settlement areas, adapted mowing is already being carried out to create habitats for insects. This is not yet the case in all areas, and there are sometimes shortcomings in its implementation. Through dialogue with those responsible for green spaces, the ‘Biodiversity in Built-up Areas’ lab aims to identify obstacles that stand in the way of even wider and more effective implementation of meadow management and to develop recommendations for action.
